Wendy Williams, Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary. Dear Ms Williams, Regarding: West Midlands Police - Responses. The Inspectorate's website is inviting contact through this email address; self-identification as female has been assumed. I have submitted a number of complaints since 2016 regarding my local Police force, all of which, saving one that proceeded to the appeal stage, are currently ignored. The Police and Crime Commissioner simply 'bats back' my complaints to the Force and the Independent Office for Police Conduct behaves similarly, ignoring my requests for my complaints to be heard - this is the latest message sent to the IOPC, which can investigate a Police force: "Regarding your response, received today, 9th July 21, I am baffled that West Midlands Police (abbreviated to WiMP in correspondence) can be allowed to get away with ignoring my complaints; it is true that I went through the appeal process in respect of 'Sarah's Stitch-Up' (and I understand that a possible Judicial Review is the next step there), but I have three other complaints, not yet appealed - surely I'm entitled to a response from these, am I not?". More detail can be found at www.dwaustin.net . It seems that all British agencies can ignore complaints, knowing that they can ultimately suggest legal action, which is unaffordable for most citizens and which, in any case, employs a largely corrupt, self-interested judiciary - very cosy! It is possible that I am 'gaslighted', in the modern terminology, in the hope that I will commit a criminal act for which I can be prosecuted - but why the hate? My campaigns are essentially for clean and quiet streets - is there no member of the British Establishment that shares a similar objective? DAustin @da1955 Update - Message received from HMICFRS, 23rd August: "Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) is an independent inspectorate defined under statute and is responsible for inspecting the efficiency and effectiveness with which forces provide policing services. I regret to advise you that the inspectorate has no powers to investigate individual complaints about a force or its personnel."
